Mitas is a tyre producer located in the Czech Republic. Mitas are Specialists in off-road tyres for agricultural, industrial, motorcycles.

The background of Mitas can be traced back to the 1930s, when tyre manufacturing began in Prague, which was then the capital city of Czechoslovakia, and in the Moravian city of Zlin.

Mitas presently runs three factories in the Czech Republic, one plant in Serbia and one plant in Charles City, Iowa.

In addition to these manufacturing plants, Mitas has a comprehensive overseas sales and distribution network functioning in 14 countries, which includes the USA.

Mitas makes, distributes and sells tyres under three brand names: the corporations own Mitas and Cultor, and Continental under licence.
